  • 100–1,000 board feet — $0.55/bf
  • 1,000+ board feet — $0.45/bf

Any jobs beyond milling alone requires half down before cutting begins.

--Please Note--

  • Prices apply to straight, relatively clear logs over 10" in diameter. Crooked logs, small logs, or logs with crotches, large burls, etc., are billed at $65/hour.
  • Air drying takes 1 year per inch of board thickness.
  • Kiln drying still requires 3–6 months of air drying beforehand, followed by a 2–3 week kiln cycle. Plan your timeline accordingly.
  • Not sure how much lumber your logs will yield? Search "Doyle's Rule calculator" to estimate board footage and get a rough price estimate.
  • I currently have a 23" maximum width, and 14' maximum length constraint.

Coming Soon - Specialty lumber.

As some of the first boards from the mill are making their way into the shop after drying, I'm saving up off-cuts for listing as pen blanks, knife scales, small live edge slabs, etc. Nothing crazy and exotic, just good, cheap stuff for beginners to practice with, or for experienced makers to use for bulk work. Mostly White and Red Oak, Cherry, and Maple currently.

Now with the kiln operational and another being built soon, full sized slabs and limited quantities of dimensional lumber will be available for sale.

Check back by winter of '26, there's some good stuff coming.
